WebMay 14, 2016 · The tweeter was actually a very nice Seas OEM model, however the woofers in these had foam surrounds and were toast. The woofer was replaced with a Silver Flute 8" and the tweeter reused. A little sanding and Tung oil and they looked like new again! WebVery nice pair of these cool old speakers. The woofers were re-foamed about 4 months ago, and have barely any play time on them. They have a lot of the same bass kick as the Mach 1 or 2 Speakers, with the punch that the old Nova's had.
