Web26 okt. 2024 · The results of this study revealed the ecological characteristics of M. nitroreducens -like archaea in sewage sludge that improved our understanding of nitrate-dependent anaerobic methane oxidation process and may be the basis for future application of M. nitroreducens -like archaea for new nitrogen removal in WWTPs.
