This has not been an issue with the McCormack duo, but they were made for one another. I'm wondering how this preamp will mate with the Ultravalve or if a different preamp will be needed? WebThe TLC-1 is quite detailed first of all. In addition, the soundstage is very spacious and there is depth in spades. No matter whether it was vocals, or instruments, it was easy to pick apart the whole performance in the soundstage. This was using the "buffered" outputs on the TLC-1 with no external supply. The bass response wasn't bad either.
