I have found that if I hold the draft position lever about a 1/4" down (towards) the draft position the 3PH is strong and easily and consistently lifts a 5 foot bushhog. WebJan 4, 2024 · I personally have a 1974 Ford 3000 diesel, and have had trouble with the rear hydraulics. I believe that you likely have the wrong weight oil in the reservoir. It sounds like it is too heavy, so when it is cool, it is too thick to cycle through as quickly as it needs to and you have slow reacting lift arms.

WebMay 17, 2013 · The hydraulics are weak. It really gets bad the longer you use it. The hydraulic reservoir is hot to touch after using. The liquid is clear. We changed the pump a year or so ago.
